FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 5, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
James Harden (at IND – $11,100): Needs 45.9 fantasy points. Harden returned to the lineup on Nov. 3 and had 40.7 fantasy points. As he settles back in, he’ll start to be better. The Pacers have a good defense, but Harden is the MVP for a reason. This should be a high scoring affair and Harden will definitely get his as the leader of the Rockets offense. Diagnosis: You can rarely go wrong with Harden. Expect a big game out of him as the Rockets try to right the ship.
Victor Oladipo (vs HOU – $9,100): Needs 37.7 fantasy points. Oladipo has looked more like himself in recent games. He’s coming off a 46.9 fantasy point performance and a game-winner that didn’t hit the net. That should have counted for at least five fantasy points. The Rockets defense is still a wreck and Oladipo will get his points while chipping in with assists and rebounds. Diagnosis: Love the salary, the way he’s playing, and the matchup.
Zach LaVine (at NY – $8,300): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LaVine has cooled off from his hot start, but there’s reason to think he’ll return to form against the Knicks. The Knicks are on a back-to-back and…they are the Knicks. If LaVine struggles in this one, maybe it’s time to cut bait. But there are a lot of things working in his favor and I expect him to return to early season form. At least for the night. Diagnosis: It’s a great scorer against the Knicks.
