High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Klay Thompson (vs MEM – $6,400): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. As always, you know what you’re getting with Thompson. The shots will be there, it’s just a matter of them going in. He shot well last game and he does chip in with rebounding, which helps. Unfortunately, his values largely tied to his scoring. But he’s one of the best shooters in the league and in a game where the stars will get Memphis’ attention, Thompson could slip in for easy points. Diagnosis: Typically reliable with a very high ceiling.

Evan Fournier (vs CLE – $6,000): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Fournier has been at 33 fantasy points in his last two games. The Magic are as inconsistent as anyone right now, but they are facing the Cavaliers. Worst team in the league Cleveland Cavaliers. Maybe this is a letdown game for Orlando after beating the Spurs, but I’ll take my chances that Cleveland continues to be terrible. Diagnosis: Good matchup and a high ceiling.

Dennis Schroder (vs NO – $5,500): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Schroder has been over 30 fantasy points in the last two games. He’s settling into his role as the backup point guard and playing plenty alongside the starters. The Pelicans defense is rough and Schroder has the scoring chops to take advantage of their bench unit. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent, but playing well and has a very good matchup.
