High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Justise Winslow (at DET – $5,500): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. Winslow was moved to the starting lineup and responded with 46 fantasy points. He’s been solid this season and playing with the starters, and over 30 minutes a game will only help his value. He can do a bit of everything and maybe he gets some consistency in the starting lineup. Diagnosis: Making a leap, plays big minutes, and has a good matchup.

Gordon Hayward (at DEN – $5,400): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Hayward is starting to look healthier, even if his scoring isn’t quite there. He only scored four points against the Pacers but finished with 24.9 fantasy points thanks to his rebounding and defense. The Nuggets defense is good, but Hayward is reliable at this salary, even if his scoring isn’t there. Diagnosis: Scoring will come around, but until then, he’s doing enough in other categories to hit value.

E’Twaun Moore (at OKC – $4,600): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. Moore has had an inconsistent season, but he’s at a nice salary and has high scoring potential. The Thunder defense is looking better, but Moore always seems to trouble them with his scoring. He was over 28 fantasy points in two of three games against OKC last season. His value is largely tied to his scoring, which is always a concern. Diagnosis: Low-cost option with a matchup who he typically does well against.
