Anthony Miller, WR, Chicago Bears

Mitchell Trubisky attempted just 20 passes in the Chicago Bears Week 9 win against the ugly Buffalo Bills offense, and Anthony Miller led the way for the Chicago passing attack by catching 5 of 6 targets for 49 yards.

Miller took full advantage of Allen Robinson and Kevin White both being inactives, and he’s become a key part of the Bears offense lately. Last week, Miller caught 3 passes for 37 yards and a touchdown against the New York Jets.

He could have an even bigger performance in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions, especially after commanding such a high percentage of Trubisky’s Week 9 targets. Miller could be a case of a wide receiver finding a place in an offense due to injuries to others, and he could benefit from the attention Robinson gets.

It looks like Miller will join Trey Burton and Tarik Cohen as safe options for Trubisky, and Miller, who is a second-round rookie out of Memphis, looks like a missing piece to the puzzle for Trubisky and the Bears offense. Fantasy football owners should monitor how he does against Detroit, but it may be best to jump on him early, in case he has a breakout performance against the Lions.
