Previous: 10th. Boston Celtics. 7. team. 18. . 6-4

A tough collapse against the Nuggets robbed the Celtics of a signature win and evened out what had otherwise been a nice week. At 6-4, the Celtics are on the right side of the ledger but their point differential is slim and they definitely still look out of sync. Attacking the basket has been a major point of emphasis for Brad Stevens, something that can hopefully inject some life into what has been, to this point, a moribund offense.

The Celtics currently rank 20th in the NBA in drives per game and have the fourth-highest percentage of drives end in a pass, evidence that they’re looking to kick the ball out when perhaps just going up and trying to finish strongly or draw a foul might be a better decision. They’re also averaging over 23.0 pull-up 2-pointers per game, a shot they’d be better off avoiding until they can get some of the other, more essential pieces of their offense working smoothly.
