Toronto Raptors. 4. team. 81. . 10-1. Previous: 2nd

It’s hard to slide the Raptors down too far, considering they’re still top-10 in offensive and defensive efficiency, have the fifth-best point differential in the league and still haven’t lost a game with Kawhi Leonard on the floor. Still, the teams ahead of them have been every bit as impressive.

What should be scary to the rest of the league is that the Raptors still don’t appear to be anywhere close to their ceiling. Kawhi and Fred VanVleet have both missed four games, and OG Anunoby has missed three. A handful of their best 3-point shooters — Ibaka, VanVleet, C.J. Miles — have all yet to find their rhythm and are hitting under 30 percent. And all those missing pieces have meant that their defense, has yet to fully gel. In the meantime, the Raptors are giving players like Pascal Siakam a chance to shine, which will only make them more dangerous when the playoffs finally roll around.
