High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Andrew Wiggins (at LAL – $6,000): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Wiggins gets his numbers if nothing else. Even with his scoring down, he’s doing enough in other categories to boost his value. The good news is he’ll always get his shots in the Minnesota offense. Against the Lakers, I expect him to pick up his scoring given their lack of defense. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable at this salary and has a high ceiling if his shot is falling.

Gary Harris (at MEM – $6,000): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Harris had 30.2 fantasy points against the Celtics on Nov. 5. The scoring numbers still aren’t quite where you would like them to be, but he’s doing enough in other categories to boost his value. The Grizzlies can be a tough matchup, but I’m not doubting the Nuggets with the way they are playing right now. Diagnosis: Good salary for a guy who can do a bit of everything. If his shot starts falling, he can produce a big night.

Dwyane Wade (vs SA – $5,000): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Wade has been reliable this season, hitting value in 78 percent of games. The Spurs don’t offer much in terms of defense and you know Wade is going to get his minutes and opportunities in the Miami offense. He always has big game potential with a vintage DWade performance. Diagnosis: Reliable option who does a bit of everything. High ceiling and a good matchup.
