DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 7, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Ben Simmons (at IND – $9,600): Needs 43.9 fantasy points. Simmons had 46.5 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Nets on Nov. 4. He averaged 45.8 fantasy points in three games against the Pacers last season. Simmons is always a triple-double threat whenever he steps on the court. He’s looked a little off in the last couple of games, but I like the matchup for him on Wednesday. Diagnosis: High ceiling option with a solid matchup.
Nikola Mirotic (vs CHI – $8,300): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. A lot to love about Mirotic heading into Wednesday. Even though the 3 isn’t falling, he’s still posting good scoring numbers to go along with huge rebounding numbers. Don’t think he hasn’t forgotten about the Bulls trading him to the Pelicans last season, even if he did want out. I’m a sucker for revenge games and It helps when it’s a player as good as Mirotic looking for revenge. Diagnosis: Absolutely love everything about Mirotic on Wednesday.
Josh Richardson (vs SA – $7,700): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. Richardson has been over 45 fantasy points in three out of his last five games. The Spurs will make life tough, but their defense has not been good this season and Richardson has turned into an elite scorer for the Heat. He also chips in with numbers in other categories. Diagnosis: High ceiling, red hot, and a good matchup.
