High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (at IND – $11,300): Needs 49.8 fantasy points. Center is a big position on Wednesday and Embiid is the best option, even if he costs the most. He’s typically reliable and he’s been over 60 fantasy points five times in 11 games this season. The Pacers defense is looking better, but they don’t have an answer for Embiid. He’ll feast. Diagnosis: Needs a big game, but certainly has big game potential with this matchup.

Karl-Anthony Towns (at LAL – $9,400): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Towns had his best game of the season against the Lakers on Oct. 29, posting 63.2 fantasy points in that matchup. The Lakers lack of size, even if Tyson Chandler ends up in the lineup, makes for a great matchup for Towns. He’s been inconsistent this season, but I can’t help but love the matchup. Diagnosis: Should perform well again against a weak frontcourt team.

Steven Adams (at CLE – $7,400): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. As mentioned, center is loaded on Wednesday. But if you want to save money and still get 40-plus fantasy points, Adams is a good bet. No Westbrook means he’ll get more touches in the post and more rebounds. And against the Cavaliers, he should dominate on the paint and the boards. Diagnosis: Great circumstances and matchup. Should be well over value.
