FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 7, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Dennis Schroder (at CLE – $6,400): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. No Russell Westbrook means more Dennis Schroder. He’s found his touch in the last couple of games and reminded everyone that he’s still a very good offensive player. He played well in the two early games without Westbrook and has grown more comfortable in OKC. This is a great matchup and one Schroder should have plenty of success against. Diagnosis: Circumstances are good with Westbrook’s injury. The matchup might be even better.
Evan Fournier (vs DET – $6,200): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Fournier has been at 33 fantasy points in his last three games. So I’m just going to assume that he’ll be at 33 fantasy points on Wednesday. My logic is sound, right? He’s been inconsistent this season, but he’s playing well right now and the Pistons haven’t exactly looked all that good in recent weeks. Fournier does enough with his scoring, passing and on defense to be a valuable player. Diagnosis: On a hot streak with a solid matchup.
Allonzo Trier (at ATL – $4,200): Needs 17.5 fantasy points. I don’t know what’s going on in New York. Does anyone know what’s going on in New York? Trier drew the start on Nov. 5 against the Bulls and posted 33.1 fantasy points. Before that, he was playing well and then a non-factor in other games. If he starts, he’s fine at this salary and has shown a high ceiling. Plus, it’s the Hawks. Diagnosis: Slight risk because who knows with New York right now. But good salary and high reward based on the matchup.
