High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Paul George (at CLE – $10,200): Needs 41.9 fantasy points. George’s salary has jumped due to the injury to Westbrook, but I’m not concerned. Not with this matchup. And not with the way George is playing. He’s going to get points and he’s passing the ball better than ever. You know he’s good for a defensive play or two as well. Plus, it’s Cleveland. Diagnosis: He’ll be the top option without Westbrook and the top option against a great matchup.

Nikola Mirotic (vs CHI – $8,400): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. Mirotic has been over 40 fantasy points in his last five games. Even without the 3-ball falling, he’s still getting scoring numbers and putting up big rebounding numbers. He’s facing his old team for the first time and I always love the story of the “revenge game.” A lot to like for Mirotic on Wednesday. Diagnosis: Benn consistent with a high ceiling. Now has a great matchup with a personal touch.

Josh Richardson (vs SA – $7,600): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. Richardson has been over 45 fantasy points in three out of his last four games. The Spurs can be a tough matchup, but their defense is not where it’s been in year’s past and Richardson is the best option on the Heat right now. He should get his points and I expect him to do enough in other areas to boost his value. Diagnosis: Nice salary for a high ceiling player with a good matchup.
