FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 7, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Andrew Wiggins (at LAL – $6,400): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. Wiggins might not be efficient, but that doesn’t matter in DFS life. What does matter is numbers. And Wiggins gets numbers. Even though his scoring has been down in recent contests, he’s made up that value by chipping in with rebounds and a couple of defensive plays. He also gets his shots, which counts for something because you can’t score if you don’t shoot. Diagnosis: Reliable to put up numbers, even if it’s not always pretty.
Justise Winslow (vs SA – $5,700): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. Winslow has done well as the starter. He followed up his 46 fantasy point game against the Hawks with 31.7 fantasy points against the Pistons. He does a little bit in every category and is thriving with the extra playing time and alongside better players. Diagnosis: Playing very well, good matchup, puts up numbers in all categories.
Mario Hezonja (at ATL – $4,200): Needs 17.3 fantasy points. Hezonja has always put up numbers when he’s gotten playing time. He just always hasn’t gotten — or deserved — much playing time. I would imagine that his minutes will be up against the Hawks because they are the Hawks. But as I mentioned earlier, I’m confused by what New York is doing. Diagnosis: Low-cost option with a high ceiling. Just needs minutes.
