FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 7, 2018
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,667
Anthony Davis (vs CHI – $11,800): Needs 49.7 fantasy points. Davis was held to 29.1 fantasy points in 38 minutes against the Thunder. Do you know how bad of a game he had to have to finish with just 29.1 fantasy points? There’s good reason to think he’ll bounce back against the Bulls. First off, the Pelicans are back at home. More importantly, they are playing the Bulls. Chicago has no frontcourt option who can contain him. I just worry that it’s more than a matchup thing with Davis right now. Diagnosis: If he’s still Anthony Davis, he’ll have a huge game.
Blake Griffin (at ORL – $9,600): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. Griffin has been great all season, save for one game against the Celtics. He’ll have the opportunity to be great again on Wednesday as the Magic are a very good matchup for him. Points and rebounds have not been an issue and he has proven to be a good passer throughout his career, but especially this season. Diagnosis: High ceiling and possibly a better play than Davis if Davis truly isn’t right.
LaMarcus Aldridge (at MIA – $8,000): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. Aldridge has been a little up-and-down in recent contests, but no Rudy Gay should mean big things for Aldridge. Plus, the Spurs have had a couple of days off and Popovich will no doubt have them well-prepared coming into Wednesday’s game. I fully expect Aldridge to return to form given the circumstances and matchup. Diagnosis: Been inconsistent, but a lot of positive signs heading into Wednesday.
