Start: David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

vs. Atlanta Falcons

Steady is the best way to describe how David Njoku’s season has gone. He has been a steady part of the Cleveland Browns offensive game plan and is quickly developing a strong relationship with quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Njoku is averaging around 43 yards and four receptions per game. Those are elite fantasy numbers, but when compared to the rest of the tight end group its more than solid.

The one area where Njoku needs to be more of a presence is in the red zone. He only has two touchdowns on the year. This week the entire Cleveland Browns offense has a favorable matchup. The Atlanta Falcons are allowing over 28 points per game.

Sit: Jared Cook, Oakland Raiders

vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Outside of two huge performances, Jared Cook has been basically unplayable as a fantasy option. Just this past week he finished with two catches for 20 yards against the San Francisco 49ers. The truth is that none of the Oakland Raiders offensive players are great fantasy options.

Cook also comes with a long history of sporadic fantasy production. He has long shown flashes of his upside only to disappear for weeks at a time. Cook is someone I’m keeping on my bench for the foreseeable future.
