Players costing $6,667 or under

Boban Marjanovic (at POR – $5,400): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Much like Harrell, Boban always contributes when he plays. The Clippers are getting him in games for longer and I have no doubt in his ability to get points and rebounds. The minutes should be there against Nurkic. He had a 23.8 fantasy point game in 12 minutes against the Blazers last season. Diagnosis: Solid option who is getting more minutes.

Brook Lopez (at GS – $4,900): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Lopez had 31.3 fantasy points against the Blazers on Nov. 6. He had a 46.2 fantasy point game against the Warriors in March of last season. But I don’t fully trust his ability to stay on the floor against the Warriors. If he plays, he’ll put up decent numbers and has a proven ceiling. Diagnosis: Decent low-cost option with a high ceiling, but playing time concerns are real.

Nerlens Noel (vs HOU – $3,600): Needs 15.8 fantasy points. Noel had 18.5 fantasy points against the Cavaliers. He didn’t score or get a rebound but made up the value with his defense. He should get decent minutes against the Rockets due to his defense and as a low-cost option, he can at least hit value. If you want something out of your center spot but doesn’t want to spend, Noel is solid. Diagnosis: Low-cost option who can do a bit of everything, but don’t expect a big game.
