Players costing $6,667 or under

Klay Thompson (vs MIL – $6,500): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting with Thompson. The shots are going to be there and he’s a great scorer. He doesn’t do quite enough in other categories to boost his value if shots aren’t falling, but I’m going to trust that shots will fall against this matchup. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and has a high ceiling given the offense he’s in.

Lou Williams (at POR – $6,200): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. Williams has returned to form in the last couple of games, turning into the microwave scorer of the bench that makes him one of the most dangerous players in the league. The matchup is tough with the Blazers defense, but Williams is starting to heat up. Diagnosis: Finding his rhythm, which is a good sign for his value.

Andre Iguodala (vs MIL – $3,800): Needs 15.9 fantasy points. There’s not much risk with Iguodala at this salary. And with Draymond Green out of the lineup, he could see some extra minutes. He typically finds a way to contribute in some fashion and I expect nothing different from him on Thursday against the Bucks. Diagnosis: Low-cost and reliable. Circumstances are on his side.
