High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (at PHO – $5,400): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Hayward has turned into a reliable option, even if his scoring numbers are not there right now. If he could get his shot to fall, he’s in for a huge night at a low salary. But until then, he’s at least doing enough elsewhere to boost his value. Obviously, the Suns are a great matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling if his shot starts to fall.

Evan Turner (vs LAC – $4,600): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. Turner had 38.2 fantasy points against the Bucks on Nov. 6. He’s been surprisingly reliable and with a high ceiling this season. It still feels weird to trust Turner, but he’s thriving off the bench and the Clippers are a relatively solid matchup. Diagnosis: Playing well and does a bit of everything.

Alfonzo McKinnie (vs MIL – $3,600): Needs 15.6 fantasy points. McKinnie has been solid for the Warriors this season. The Warriors have a habit of making role players look very good as the attention is on the three All-Stars. McKinnie is at a low salary and should hit value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Gets minutes and in a perfect situation to thrive.
