FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 8, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Jerami Grant (vs HOU – $5,600): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Grant had 26.6 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Wednesday. He’s been a reliable option as a starter, although I still like his value more with Westbrook in the lineup just because Westbrook is a willing passer. Grant should get big minutes for his defense and might have success with his scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Al-Farouq Aminu (vs LAC – $5,400): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Aminu is an inconsistent option, but his ceiling remains high. He’s been down in the last two games and you really don’t know what you’re going to get on a game-to-game basis from him. The matchup is good and he’ll get the minutes, but he’s an inconsistent as they come. Diagnosis: The minutes will be there. I don’t know if the production will be.
Marcus Morris (at PHO – $5,100): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. Morris was down to 10.7 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 5. He typically plays more minutes, so there is now a concern that he’s fallen a bit out of the rotation. Because of that, he’s now a risky player. As long as he plays, the shots and rebounds are going to be there. The matchup is good as well. Diagnosis: Risky because I don’t know where his minutes stand against the Nuggets game.
