James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers, $8,300

Stats: 706 rushing yards, 9 touchdowns, 379 receiving yards, 1 touchdown

James Conner has been absolutely amazing this season for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the absence of Le’veon Bell. Conner has proven he can handle the load, averaging 88 rushing yards and one touchdown, along with 47 receiving yards per game. Does this prove that Bell was a product of his offense? We will find out once he goes to a new team.

Conner is either really good or also benefiting from the players and system around him. Maybe Ben Roethlisberger is better than what he gets credit for. Either way, Conner has a great price tag for Week 10 and has the opportunity to have a huge game on Thursday Night Football  against a Carolina Panthers defense that has allowed 344 yards and 94 rushing yards per game.

Conner ranks in the top five among running backs in overall production and averages per game. This man is dominating in his first season as a starter. Who would have guessed that the Steelers had a dynamic backup on their roster?

The Panthers defense isn’t one to fear. The Steelers offense won’t have any issues moving the ball up and down the field against them. Place Conner in your lineups this week to free up some extra cap space. His volume in this offense mirrors Bell and he is producing as a RB1.

Prediction: 85 rushing yards, 60 receiving yards, 2 total touchdowns
