Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (-6.5)

The Bears (5-3) have rallied off a tough loss to New England to win two straight, setting up a divisional showdown with Detroit (3-5) this weekend. Frankly, the Lions waved the white flag when they traded Golden Tate, something that won’t be rectified until next season.

Pick: Chicago 23, Detroit 17

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (-3)

The Jaguars (3-5) appear broken. They can’t score, and the Colts (3-5), while flawed, can. Andrew Luck is so much better than Blake Bortles, that Jacksonville’s defense can’t make up the difference. Incredibly disappointing campaign in Duval.

Pick: Indianapolis 29, Jacksonville 24

New England Patriots (-6.5) at Tennessee Titans

The Patriots (7-2) are rolling. It doesn’t seem to matter that Rob Gronkowski can’t run anymore or that Cordarelle Patterson is now a running back. Bill Belichick has this thing humming. Meanwhile, the Titans (4-4) are plodding along, without another gear to.

Pick: New England 28, Tennessee 25

New Orleans Saints (-4.5) at Cincinnati Bengals

The Saints (7-1) are the NFC’s best team, and they can put points up in bunches. The Bengals (5-3) are missing A.J. Green and have the league’s 32nd-ranked defense. Andy Dalton isn’t going to keep up with Drew Brees, Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara.

Pick: New Orleans 37, Cincinnati 27

Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)

How are the Buccaneers (3-5) favored in this game? Tampa Bay has lost five of its last six and the Redskins (5-3) are leading the NFC East, on pace to win 10 games. Don’t overreact to one bad game, Washington can play despite mounting injuries.

Pick: Washington 21, Tampa Bay 20
