New Orleans Saints (-5.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals

This is another great matchup, this time in the 1 p.m. slot. The Saints are coming off a major win against the last formerly undefeated team in the league. They looked out of this world, and officially moved past whatever woes plagued them early in the season. The offense could be the best in the league, and Michael Thomas is looking like the best receiver in football. They even added Dez Bryant, for some reason.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals are having the most forgettable season from a team in playoff contention. This team can beat everyone outside the top ten in the league, but loses to the teams you’d expect them to. They lost to the Steelers, Chiefs and Panthers. Now, they face another top team.

When facing the top teams in the league, the Bengals lost every single game by at least a touchdown. Andy Dalton and company just aren’t on par with those teams. They may be a playoff team, but it’s almost a guarantee they’ll be the final Wild Card team if they do. The Saints are looking to be the top seed in the NFC. Go with the Saints, even on the road and with the points.

Atlanta Falcons (-4) @ Cleveland Browns

The Atlanta Falcons threw everyone for a loop last week. After weeks of playing well below their talent level, the Falcons took the Redskins to the woodshed. After having trouble with the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (led by Jameis Winston), they looked like a different team at FedEx Field. Now, they add Bruce Irvin who’s expected to be ready by this week’s matchup with the Cleveland Browns.

Meanwhile, the head coach of the Browns is still Greg Williams. Embroiled in a four-game losing streak, this is starting to feel like the same old Browns. Freddie Kitchens seems to know how to deal with some of the weapons on this offense a little better, but it won’t be enough.

It’s weird to give the Falcons this many points in a hostile road environment, but there’s nothing we’ve seen from the Browns that says they can win.
