FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 9, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Ben Simmons (vs CHA – $9,700): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Simmons has been over 40 fantasy points in each of his last two games. He was down to 31.9 fantasy points against the Hornets on Oct. 27, which is a worrying number. However, we know Simmons has the ability to put up numbers in all categories and the matchup is a good one given how Charlotte’s defense has looked. Diagnosis: High ceiling, playing well, strong matchup.
Kemba Walker (at PHI – $8,600): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. Walker is coming off a 50.1 fantasy point performance against the Hawks on Nov. 6. It was against the Hawks, but he had a huge 60.2 fantasy point performance against the Sixers on Oct. 27. We know Walker can get it done against this matchup and he’s been great more often than not this season. Diagnosis: He’ll get his points and the ceiling is very high.
De’Aaron Fox (vs MIN – $7,500): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. Fox has been down in his last two games, but nothing fixes a player on a cold streak like a game against the Timberwolves. Minnesota offers no defense and I trust that Fox will be able to bounce back. I trust in the Kings. I can’t believe I typed those words. Diagnosis: Great matchup and Fox has played well throughout the season.
Quick Hits
Kyrie Irving ($8,500): He’s red hot, but it’s a back-to-back against a good Jazz defense.
