High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Josh Richardson (vs IND – $7,600): Needs 31 fantasy points. Richardson was at 31.5 fantasy points against the Spurs on Nov. 7. He’s been great this season and I expect more of the same against the Pacers. Indiana might be a tough matchup, but Richardson is a high salary guy for a reason. And his salary isn’t even all that high given his role and ceiling. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but has delivered this season.

Andrew Wiggins (at SAC – $6,700): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. Wiggins had 42.3 fantasy points against the Lakers on Nov. 7. Wiggins is always going to get his shots, which is a good thing. And he’s doing a bit more in other categories this season, which helps boost his value. The Kings are better, but the Timberwolves offense always gets buckets. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary and a solid matchup.

Otto Porter Jr (at ORL – $6,600): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. Porter Jr. had 45.7 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Nov. 6. Look, I have no idea what I’m getting from the Wizards on a night-to-night basis. Porter has the talent to be a high ceiling guy, but he’s also bottomed up many times this season. Take at your own risk. The matchup is good if nothing else. Diagnosis: High-risk, high-reward player.
