High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Robert Covington (vs CHA – $6,600): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. A more reliable option at the same salary as Porter Jr would be Covington. He dominates this matchup. He’s averaged 37.7 fantasy points in his last five games against the Hornets. He had 47 fantasy points against them on Oct. 27. This is simply his matchup. Diagnosis: Always delivers against the Hornets. Expect more of the same.

Gordon Hayward (at UTA – $5,400): Needs 22 fantasy points. Hayward managed just 15.8 fantasy points against the Suns. I had hopes that his shot would start to fall, but it didn’t. Now he returns to Utah for the first time since signing with Celtics. I love a revenge story and think Hayward will have a little something extra in this one.

Jae Crowder (vs BOS – $5,000): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. Crowder had 22.2 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Nov. 7. He’s a high minutes guy who can do a bit of everything. There’s also a bit of a revenge factor as Crowder was traded from Boston before the start of last season. Diagnosis: Nice salary for a guy who is going to get minutes and can chip in across the board.
