High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

DeMar DeRozan (vs HOU – $9,600): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. DeRozan had 52.8 fantasy points against the Heat on Nov. 7. He’s been fantastic this season and now he gets a taste of the San Antonio-Houston rivalry. He’ll thrive in this game because the Rockets defense is terrible and DeRozan is always great in the regular season. The Spurs will hunt mismatches for him and he’ll get his points and assists without much issue. Diagnosis: I’m taking anyone against Houston right now, especially someone as talented as DeRozan.

Jrue Holiday (vs PHO – $9,100): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. Holiday has been great in recent weeks, going over 40 fantasy points in six straight. He was at 50.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Nov. 7. The Suns are the Suns, which means they should be taken advantage of. Offense hasn’t been an issue for the Pelicans this season and should not be an issue against the Suns. Diagnosis: He’ll do a bit of everything. The possibility of a blowout is slightly concerning, but the Pelicans poor defense might keep Phoenix in the game.

Zach LaVine (vs CLE – $8,800): Needs 37 fantasy points. LaVine has been down in recent contests aside from a big 58.8 fantasy point game against the Knicks. The good sign is that he dominated a team like the Knicks. A better sign is that he gets to go up against the Cavaliers, who are worse than the Knicks. LaVine should get buckets and do enough in other categories to boost his value. Diagnosis: Take advantage of the Cavaliers, especially with a scorer like LaVine.
