4. Drew Brees vs Cincinnati

What more can be said about Drew Brees? The 39-year-old quarterback is in the running for the MVP and is coming off one of his best performances of his career last week in the win against the previously undefeated Rams.

Brees was 25-of-36 for 346 yards and a season-high four touchdowns. That’s good for his second-best QBR of the season, a measly 137. Brees has so many weapons. Dez Bryant was supposed to be a big addition but fear is he tore his Achilles in practice. Still, that leaves a lot for Brees to use when picking apart a defense.

No team may be hotter than the Saints right now. Kamara is firing on all cylinders. Joe Horn, I mean Michael Thomas, is in rare form and looking like one of the best wideouts in the league right now. The defense hasn’t been as bad as in the opening weeks and they’ve done enough to keep in front. I mean they did do enough against the Rams and came out with a 10-point win.

One last thing I can’t help but note for Brees and the Saints is red zone efficiency. Brees inside the 20? 40-of-59, 232 yards, 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Give me another vintage Brees performance against the Bengals.
