3. Kareem Hunt vs Arizona

Flashback a few weeks when I talked about how important Hunt was to this Kansas City offense and how scary they are when he’s getting touches.

Against Cincinnati that week Hunt finished with a trio of touchdowns. After an average week the week after, last week against Cleveland he was back to the old ways finishing with 91 yards on the ground with a pair of touchdowns and one 50 yard touchdown pass on an excellent screen.

Mahomes is Mahomes but when the offense sputters with Hunt that’s where the struggles come out most. To be fair, in the loss to New England, Hunt was a big part of the offense. That remains his only 100-plus yard receiving game as well as his highest yards per carry output of the year at a whopping eight.

Arizona’s run defense isn’t anything to write home about. Their offense has started to perform better in recent weeks as Rosen gets more comfortable but I see this one being over fairly quickly. That could mean big plays at the jump for Hunt or a ton of yardage to wind the clock down. Either way, win-win across the board for fantasy owners of this RB1.
