Running backs: Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs- $9,000 & Tevin Coleman, Atlanta Falcons- $7,300

This week we are spending big money at the running back position because the matchups are too good to pass up. Lets begin with Hunt, who has been great this season. Hunt is coming off a game in which he carried the ball 17 times for 91 yards and one score. He also caught one pass for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Hunt finished his Week 9 performance with 32.6 fantasy points, most at the running back position. Hunt has scored at least 27 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He has scored at least one touchdown in eight straight weeks, becoming the first player to accomplish this since Jamaal Charles in 2014.

The second year back has compiled 683 rushing yards, third most in the league. This week, Hunt will face an Arizona run-defense who has struggled all season. Opposing running backs have racked up 1,057 yards on the ground, fourth most in the NFL. They have given up 10 touchdowns, third most in the league.

On average, the Cardinals have allowed backs to score 29.0 fantasy points a game, also third most in the NFL. Hunt has never played against the Cardinals, but he will be poised for a big game.

Another running back who had a stellar Week 9 and should replicate his performance this week is Coleman. He rushed for 88 yards on 13 carries. In addition, he caught a season high five passes for 68 yards and two scores. Coleman finished the afternoon with 30.1 fantasy points, fourth most at the position in Week 9.

Coleman has scored six total touchdowns this season and has had a least one score in three straight games.

In Week 10 the Falcons travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns, who similarly to the Cardinals have struggled against running backs. Running backs have gained 1,050 yards on the ground against the Browns, fifth most in the league. They have also allowed them to compile 504 receiving yards, fourth most in the NFL.

Running backs have scored at least two touchdowns in three of their last four games against the Browns. In three of those games, Cleveland surrendered over 100 yards on the ground.

Both Hunt and Coleman have a great opportunity to be top fantasy performers in back-to-back weeks.
