High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Lou Williams (vs GS – $6,500): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Williams has been over 30 fantasy points in his last four games. And he typically raises his game against the Warriors. It’s almost like teams really want to beat the Warriors. He’s becoming the guy he was for the majority of last season and that’s a scary thing for the rest of the league. Diagnosis: Points and assists should be there.

JJ Redick (at MIA – $5,500): Needs 23 fantasy points. Redick has been uncharacteristically unreliable this season. That’s concerning. But he played 35 minutes against the Grizzlies and should log big minutes again as the Sixers are shorthanded. Redick still gets his shots, but his rebounding numbers are concerning as the Sixers are missing a couple of good shooters. I still like him on Monday due to circumstances. Diagnosis: Slight risk, but I have a good feeling given the circumstances.

Rodney McGruder (vs PHI – $5,000): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. McGruder had 28.4 fantasy points against the Wizards on Nov. 10. He’s been solid this season and logs big minutes as the starter. I don’t know what to make of the Sixers because they’re missing key players and not great defensively without those guys. McGruder should do enough to be nicely over value. Diagnosis: Reliable and a great matchup.
