High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Kemba Walker (at CLE – $9,000): Needs 37.8 fantasy points. It’s a slow night and Kemba has the best matchup of the bunch. Points should be no problem for him on Tuesday against the poor Cavaliers. The only concern is that this becomes a blowout and Kemba doesn’t get quite enough minutes. But he’ll put up big scoring and assist numbers for as long as he plays. Diagnosis: The only concern is a blowout. Otherwise, he’s a fantastic option.

Chris Paul (at DEN – $8,800): Needs 37 fantasy points. Paul had 46.5 fantasy points against the Pacers on Nov. 11. The Rockets looked a little more like the Rockets in that game, but now they are back on the road and against a very good Nuggets team. I still can’t quite figure out Houston, but Paul should be at value given his situation. Diagnosis: Reliable enough, but be wary.

Jamal Murray (vs HOU – $7,300): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. Murray continues to be on the downtrend, which is concerning going up against Houston, whose defense has looked a bit better in the last couple of games. As I just mentioned, I don’t have a full grip on Houston and I’m worried about Murray’s recent games, but Houston could easily fall back into bad habits and Murray can always explode. Diagnosis: Medium-risk, high-reward.
