High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rodney Hood (vs CHA – $5,400): Needs 22 fantasy points. Hood had 25.4 fantasy points against the Bulls on Nov. 10. He was down to 13.1 fantasy points against the Hornets on Nov. 3. But he figures to see big minutes and plenty of shots with all the injuries to the Cavaliers. Someone has to score for the Cavaliers and Hood can score better than most on Cleveland. Diagnosis: Reliable enough just based on circumstances.

Miles Bridges (at CLE – $5,200): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Bridges has played well in his last two games, jumping up to 23.3 and 22.6 fantasy points. His salary has climbed, but he figures to see more minutes with MKG out. Plus, it’s the Cavaliers. As long as he plays around 25 minutes, he’ll hit value at the very least. Diagnosis: Good set of circumstances and a great matchup, even if the salary is higher.

Alfonzo McKinnie (vs ATL – $3,700): Needs15.1 fantasy points. If you think this is going to be a blowout and McKinnie will get a lot of garbage time run, he’s a solid option. Otherwise, you should have no issue grabbing one of the guys above him given the lack of high salary options on the night. He’s shown to have a solid ceiling if he does get playing time. Diagnosis: Low-cost and maybe puts up numbers in garbage time.
