FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 13, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Gary Clark (at DEN – $5,100): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. With Carmelo Anthony all but gone, it’s Gary Clark’s job to lose in Houston. And if PJ Tucker ends up missing this game, Clark would figure to see more minutes. The points probably won’t be there, but he’ll get rebounds and chip in with some defensive plays. Diagnosis: Will get the minutes and should be around value.
Trey Lyles (vs HOU – $5,100): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Lyles had 22 fantasy points against the Bucks on Nov. 11. He played well against the Rockets last season, averaging 26.8 fantasy points in three games. He’s been reliable this season, hitting value in 77 percent of games. Even in limited minutes, he’s a solid bet. And if this one turns into a shootout, he has a big chance to contribute. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else.
Marvin Williams (at CLE – $4,400): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. Williams is up and down and only had 10.6 fantasy points in the Nov. 3 meeting against the Cavaliers. But he typically gets enough shots to be worth a flier and he can chip in with rebounds. Also look towards some of the Warriors punt options like Looney. Diagnosis: Decent option against a good matchup. But you’re probably better off spending or burning the position with a punt option.
