Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans

Stats: 2,389 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, 268 rushing yards, 1 touchdown

Deshaun Watson has been a phenomenal player this season. The Houston Texans absolutely needed his return. Coming off a Week 10 bye, Watson will face a Washington Redskins defense that ranks in the bottom half of the NFL against the pass. Watson has a great opportunity to take advantage with his new weapon Demaryius Thomas and All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins.

Watson has averaged 265 passing yards per game this season. He adds almost 30 rushing yards per game which makes him a duel threat on the field each week. We are all aware of his capabilities. Week 11 should treat him very well. The Redskins have allowed 361 total yards per game and 270 passing yards per game in 2018. This defensive unit is nothing to fear and this matchup clearly favors Watson and Co.

In Week 10, Washington allowed journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw for 406 total yards against them. Even with the recent signing of HaHa Clinton-Dix, the Redskins still remain vulnerable through the air. Watson being a bigger and more talented threat offensively shouldn’t have any troubles Sunday in the nation’s capital. Houston boasts many weapons they can utilize to expose Washington’s biggest weakness.

Watson looks to get back on track as he already threw for over 300 yards and two scores in three straight games in Weeks 2, 3 and 4. He will easily be able to accomplish that feat against this defense as the running game has been surprisingly helpful in recent weeks. The Texans defense seems to be shaping into form as well, which will translate into more offensive drives for this potentially potent offense.

Prediction: 300 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 50 rushing yards, 1 touchdown
