High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

John Wall (vs CLE – $10,200): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. Wall has been playing fantastic as of late and maybe, just maybe, the Wizards are figuring it out. Even if they aren’t quite 100 percent back, it doesn’t lessen Wall’s DFS impact or the fact that the Wizards are facing a Cavaliers team on a back-to-back. No matter how good they looked against the Hornets, they are still one of the worst teams in the league. Diagnosis: He’ll put up numbers. And if the Wizards have actually figured it out, look out.

Kyrie Irving (vs CHI – $8,900): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. Irving returned the lineup and had 44.4 fantasy points against the Blazers on Nov. 11. His scoring wasn’t quite there, but we know what he’s capable of. And he was getting it done with his passing and defense. Against the Bulls, points and assists should not be a problem. He should be over 40 fantasy points once again on Wednesday. Diagnosis: Great matchup and he’s played himself into a rhythm over the last week or so. High ceiling.

Derrick Rose (vs NO – $7,200): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. Rose continues to play great basketball this season. His salary has gone up and the Pelicans defense maybe figured something out against the Raptors. But Rose remains on the lower end of salary for point guards and has plenty of room to go over value. With a couple of extra shooters in the lineup, Rose may have more space to work. Diagnosis: Good salary and matchup, unless the Pelicans are fixed defensively.
