High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Bradley Beal (vs CLE – $8,700): Needs 36.3 fantasy points. Beal has been over 39 fantasy points in four out of his last five games. His only miss was against Miami, where he played just 28 minutes. I trust the Wizards offense more than their defense and I really trust them against the Cavaliers, who still aren’t good despite how they washed away the Hornets. Beal will get buckets and then some. Diagnosis: Good matchup and a reliable player.

Dennis Schroder (vs NY – $7,900): Needs 33 fantasy points. Schroder has been great while filling in for Westbrook and is coming off a 50.5 fantasy point effort against the Suns on Nov. 12. The minutes are there, he’s a dynamic scorer, and he’s developing some chemistry as a passer. The Knicks are awful and the Thunder, assuming they are clicking, should score plenty of points while playing strong defense. Diagnosis: A lot to love about this, from Schroder’s play to the matchup to his salary.

D’Angelo Russell (vs MIA – $7,500): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. Russell had 45.4 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Nov. 12. With no Caris LeVert, Russell is going to be the primary option on the perimeter. Dinwiddie will be asked to step up, but if it doesn’t happen, Russell has proven that he can step up with the extra minutes and usage. The Heat can be a tough matchup, but Russell’s salary is good and the extra opportunities could lead to a big game. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a good salary given what he’s capable of.
