High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs MEM – $11,800): Needs 48.2 fantasy points. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup and Giannis needs a big game to justify the salary, but I’m not going to doubt him. The Bucks are at home following a long west coast road trip and should have a burst of energy against Memphis. We know what he’s capable of, even if the matchup looks tough on paper. Diagnosis: Matchup is tough, but it’s Giannis.

Paul George (vs NY – $10,300): Needs 42 fantasy points. George has been over 45 fantasy points in his last three games and four out of his last five. With Westbrook out, he’s doing a bit more in every category. He’s had some good matchups and the Knicks certainly fit that bill. There’s no reason to doubt George given the matchup and the way he’s playing right now. He should dominate. Diagnosis: Everything is lining up for a big night from George.

Kawhi Leonard (vs DET – $9,200): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. Leonard hasn’t been great in the last three games, which is a concern, but I’m going to give him this game. He still has a high ceiling and I’m not in love with any other small forwards on the night (obviously, never count out LeBron). On a slightly lesser salary, I’ll give Kawhi this game to bounce back given how good he and the Raptors have played throughout this season. Diagnosis: Not playing well, but the ceiling is high and the matchup is fine.
