High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Pascal Siakam (vs DET – $6,400): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Much like Ibaka, Siakam has been great this season. The minutes will definitely be there and he can do a bit of everything but is mainly getting it done with his scoring. I’ve loved pairing Ibaka and Siakam as both are cost-effective options with high ceilings who are playing great. Diagnosis: No reason to doubt him at this point.

Derrick Favors (at DAL – $5,300): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Favors has been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He had 34.2 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Nov. 7. As long as the minutes are there, the production will be there. I trust that the minutes will be there given this matchup. Not always a big producer in any one category, but does enough in all categories. Diagnosis: Reliable option with a relatively high ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at LAL – $5,300): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Aminu has been over 26 fantasy points in his last two games. He had 34.6 fantasy points in the last meeting against the Lakers, but just 14.2 fantasy points on opening night. He’s inconsistent, but the matchup isn’t bad, he gets minutes, and can do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but the matchup is good and the ceiling is high.
