Croatia vs. Spain live stream: Watch UEFA Nations League online
By Warren Pegg
Croatia face Spain at the Stadion Maksimir on Thursday, Nov. 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Croatia’s pride will have been hurt by the 6-0 thrashing they endured at the hands of Spain back in September, and they’ll be out for revenge here. Coach Zlatko Dalic has promised that we’ll see an attacking performance from his team, which bodes well for this being a good spectacle given that the line-up will feature the likes of Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Ivan Perisic. Despite the final scoreline in Spain, the World Cup finalists were the better team for the first quarter of the game and created some decent chances. They then drew against England in their other group game, meaning that they’re still in with a chance of qualification.
Spain will also be seeking to restore some wounded pride after going down 2-3 at home to England in the last match-day, a loss that saw their incredible 27-game undefeated streak finally come to an end. Despite that result, though, a win here will guarantee Spain a place in the UEFA Nations League finals, which will take place in June 2019. A Croatia victory, meanwhile, would mean that their clash with England on Sunday becomes a winner-takes-all play-off to see who tops the group. The main news regarding the Spain squad is that Jordi Alba has returned after being overlooked by coach Luis Enrique in recent months. The Barcelona left-back is likely to add to his 66 caps here, and Isco also returns following an enforced absence due to appendicitis.
The UEFA Nations League match between Croatia and Spain will be broadcast live on ESPN. Live streaming is available on ESPN+, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the ESPN app.
