Nikola Jokic (vs ATL – $9,700): Needs 43. fantasy points. Jokic plans on playing on Thursday, but check his status before making any decisions. Even if he does play, there’s a chance his minutes are limited because it’s the Hawks and the Nuggets shouldn’t need him for big minutes in this matchup. The ceiling is high, but I’m concerned about the minutes he may not get. Diagnosis: Will put up numbers for as long as he plays. But may not play quite enough.

Clint Capela (vs GS – $8,100): Needs 36 fantasy points. Capela has been over 37 fantasy points in two out of his last three games. However, he wasn’t great against the Warriors last season. In 10 games, including the playoffs, he averaged 28.6 fantasy points. Maybe no Steph Curry helps his value because he shouldn’t be on an island quite as much. But it is a concerning trend. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, although I’m warming up to him based on no Curry.

Boban Marjanovic (vs SA – $4,800): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. Yes, Boban is a high salary guy thanks to all the injury at the center position on Thursday. It’s that kind of night. As long as he plays, he’ll produce. But minutes are always a concern with Boban. The Spurs might give him more minutes as they can run big with Aldridge and Gay. Diagnosis: Low-cost, high reward.
