Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs GS – $11,700): Needs 48.9 fantasy points. Harden has been over 50 fantasy points in the last two games. He’s looking more like himself and it’s been a big reason why the Rockets have turned things around. He’ll get his points and rebounds in this one, although the Rockets won’t be able to hunt Curry and will have to settle for hunting Cook. Diagnosis: High ceiling, playing well, and typically reliable due to the Rockets offense.

Klay Thompson (at HOU – $7,500): Needs 31.4 fantasy points. Thompson has been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Without Curry, he will continue to get plenty of shots. And if Draymond freezes Durant out of the offense, Thompson might get all of the shots. I’m not ruling that out, by the way. He’s reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: A good bet to at least hit value and his ceiling is good.

Lou Williams (vs SA – $6,800): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Williams continues to play at a high level, going over 30 fantasy points in five straight. He was at 40.4 fantasy points against the Warriors on Nov. 12. His minutes are up and he’s always a microwave scorer and playmaker off the bench. He could do some real damage to a Spurs team that has looked rough recently. Diagnosis: Playing well and a high ceiling.
