Players costing $6,667 or under

Monte Morris (vs ATL – $5,200): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. Morris has been over 26 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s playing a big role off the Nuggets bench and has been outperforming some starters in recent games. He has a chance at a big night as the Nuggets bench could do a lot of damage to the Atlanta bench. Even at this salary, he’s a good bet. Diagnosis: Love the salary and the matchup. Reliable if nothing else.

Eric Gordon (vs GS – $5,000): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. Gordon has been held to under 15 fantasy points in his last two games. He hasn’t been great this season, but the ceiling is still there. He’s a capable offensive player who gets his chances in the Houston system. He was inconsistent against the Warriors in the playoffs last year, so there’s not much to takeaway from that. Diagnosis: Risky option with a high ceiling.

Andre Iguodala (at HOU – $3,900): Needs 16.3 fantasy points. Remember, the Warriors would have swept the Rockets in the playoffs if Iguodala were healthy. So even though that don’t have Curry, they will have a guy with a Finals MVP. Iguodala will continue to play big minutes with Curry out and he does a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Good salary given his minutes and role.
