High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (at HOU – $11,800): Needs 48.1 fantasy points. And here we go. I don’t know what to expect from Durant on Thursday. He’s typically great when Curry is out of the lineup. But have you been following all the Warriors drama? I could see them fighting each other by halftime if the Rockets are rolling. Because of that, Durant is a risky option. If you don’t buy into the drama or don’t care about it, take him with confidence. But it’s too big to ignore. Diagnosis: Slight risk due to outside circumstances. But he should put up numbers and maybe turns this into an “Eff You” game.

Gary Harris (vs ATL – $7,000): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. Harris has been very inconsistent this season. He’s a talented player, but he’s been reliant on his scoring lately and the points just aren’t there. The Hawks will give him a good opportunity to have a big scoring game, but if he continues to struggle, this is a tough salary to miss at. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a great matchup.

Danilo Gallinari (vs SA – $6,500): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Gallinari has been trending down in recent contests, but the minutes are still there. He’s at a more manageable salary, which helps his cause. And the Spurs defense hasn’t been great, even before you look at their performance against the Suns. His scoring struggles are a bit worrying at the moment. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and a good matchup.
