High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (at LAC – $8,400): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. I don’t know what’s going on with Aldridge. It’s like he’s forgotten how to score, which is pretty concerning for a guy that gets paid a lot to score. The ceiling is high and he has to turn it around at some point, but this is more than a trend right now. Diagnosis: Going through a rough stretch. And who doesn’t deliver against the Suns?

Tobias Harris (vs SA – $8,300): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. Harris has been consistent all season, hitting value in 77 percent of games. Even though his salary has gone up, there’s no reason to doubt him given his play thus far. The Spurs are a good matchup as they are on a back-to-back and just got waxed by the Suns. Who gets waxed by the Suns? Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (vs SA – $7,500): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. Harrell and Harris have made for a dynamic duo for the Clippers. Harrell has cut into Gallinari’s value more than Harris’. The points are there and the rebounds are typically there as well. He also chips in with a handful of defensive plays. If the Spurs have tired legs, Harris’ energy is going to hurt them in a big way. Diagnosis:

Quick Hits

Draymond Green ($8,000): Green’s ceiling isn’t as high as Aldridge’s, but he may be more reliable at this point. The problem is, I don’t know what to make of Green and the Warriors right now. Everything I said about Durant applies to Green.
