High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Paul Millsap (vs ATL – $6,200): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. Millsap had 17.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Nov. 13. It’s been that kind of season for Millsap. The ceiling is high because he is a good scorer who can chip in with rebounds and assists. But he also has a bigger bust potential than you’d like given his salary. The Hawks are a great matchup and one he should perform against. Diagnosis: Matchup is good but very inconsistent.

PJ Tucker (vs GS – $4,800): Needs 20 fantasy points. This is a PJ Tucker game. He was great against the Warriors in the playoffs last season, he’s going to get big minutes as he’s still their best all-around defender, and he can chip in, in a variety of ways. If he’s knocking down the three, that’s just a bonus. Diagnosis: Tucker typically thrives in this matchup.

Trey Lyles (vs ATL – $4,600): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. Lyles was down to 11.2 fantasy points in 13 minutes against the Rockets on Nov. 13. Chalk it up to an off-night and move on. He’s been reliable this season, typically plays more minutes, and has the Hawks in front of him. This is a great chance for him to bounce back. Diagnosis: Nice low-cost option who is reliable and should see plenty of minutes and chances.
