Wide Receivers

Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints vs Philadelphia Eagles – $8800

The highest priced option in what is looking like the highest scoring game is Saints receiver Michael Thomas. Making his case for the NFL’s best receiver, Thomas is on fire in New Orleans. Now he gets an Eagles defense that is injured at the corner position. They also allow the sixth most points per game to opposing receivers. Thomas should continue his torrid pace this weekend and find success despite being the clear focal point of the Saints passing attack.

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons vs Dallas Cowboys – $8500

After finally finding the end zone, Julio Jones is climbing back up the receiving rankings. It was a long time coming but Jones finally got a well rounded game last weekend against Cleveland despite the loss. This week he stays at home for the Cowboys. A year ago Jones was held to just 65 yards receiving against this same defense. It may be tough sledding this week with Byron Jones playing like a lock down corner and the Cowboys defense only giving up the third fewest points per game to receivers.

Odell Beckham Jr, New York Giants vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $8400

It is safe to think that if the pricing chart was released after the Giants game Monday that Odell Beckham’s price would be higher. He’s coming off a two touchdown performance and is only the third highest priced receiver. Beckham is limited because of his quarterback but he is still one of the league’s most elite play makers. This weekend he should continue to show why against the NFL’s worst secondary in Tampa Bay. Only the Saints give up more points per game to receivers than Tampa. The Giants should find easy pickings for Beckham early and often.

DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans @ Washington Redskins – $7900

It may be easy to forget since the Texans are coming off a bye but one of the NFL’s most impressive aerial attacks may be poised to get better. Adding in Demaryious Thomas should do wonders for the Texans passing game and star receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins is the NFL’s sixth highest scoring receiver this season. This week he travels to Washington to play a Redskins secondary giving up the eighth most points per game to receivers. If Thomas can take some attention, expect Deshaun Watson to find Hopkins for some big plays.

Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Jacksonville Jaguars – $7800

It is so strange to see Antonio Brown any where outside of the top-two priced options on DraftKings. That is what a date with Jalen Ramsey and the Jaguars defense will do to you. Brown is still one of the NFL’s best receivers but he runs into the NFL’s toughest pass defense. This is the same defense that Brown grabbed 10 receptions for 157 yards in last year’s playoffs against. Week 11 may be a good time to grab Brown despite the tough matchup because you may not see another week where he is under $8000.

Value Wide Receivers

John Brown, Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals – $5900

The theme of this value plays at wide receivers are clear-cut number one options on sputtering offenses in good matchups. Leading that charge is the Ravens John Brown. He is a big reason the Baltimore passing attack has been passable this year. Keep an eye out on who plays quarterback just because Lamar Jackson has little experience. However any quarterback should find success against a Bengals defense that has been torched in the last four weeks. Brown is a solid option but would be a perfect play if Joe Flacco plays.

Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys @ Atlanta Falcons – $5400

Since arriving in Dallas, Amari Cooper is being fed like a number one receiver. He’s on pace for a number one receiver stat line if you stretch out his production across 16 games. With a trip to Atlanta on Sunday that should continue. Atlanta allows the third most points per game to receivers on the season. Dak Prescott is growing his chemistry with the trade acquisition and every week should get better. The two are a solid stack option this weekend.

Donte Moncrief, Jacksonville Jaguars vs Pittsburgh Steelers – $4900

Donte Moncrief was signed in Jacksonville this offseason to replace the two Allens (Robinson and Hurns). It has took some time but it looks like he may be finding his footing in this Blake Bortles’ led offense. Moncrief has been up and down all season. Luckily they play a Pittsburgh defense ranked in the bottom-five of the league in points allowed to receivers. Moncrief is more boom or bust than the other two but provides a flyer for a low price point.
