Fantasy Football, Week 11: High value plays for FanDuel
By Dylan Broady
Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles, $7,700
Stats: 2,148 passing yards, 15 touchdowns
With only seven games under his belt this season, Carson Wentz has improved in many different ways. Although the Eagles have struggled, Wentz has proven to be a legit starting quarterback in the NFL. His accuracy is currently at 71 percent and he is averaging a healthy 8.0 yards per attempt. Going forward in Week 11 against a New Orleans Saints putrid pass defense, he is a home run play for high value this Sunday.
Wentz looks to be getting into a good groove after suffering a season-ending injury in 2017. Wentz is averaging a very healthy 306 passing yards per game, along with two scores per game. This puts him in the top 10 conversation among quarterbacks this season. He is arguably one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. Going forward he is a must-play on FanDuel every week.
Wentz comes into Week 11 as the eighth-most expensive quarterback on the board. Take full advantage of this matchup. With his volume in passing yards and touchdowns per game, he is easily the biggest bargain this week. The Saints do have the best run defense in the NFL. Wentz and Co. will have no problems figuring out this defense’s weakness come Sunday. They run a very high volume of misdirection plays.
This will keep the Saints defense off balance and open up the middle of the field. Wentz will take full advantage with his plethora of weapons. Coming into Week 11 the Saints have given up 296 passing yards per game, which perfectly fits into what Wentz is averaging this season. Place Wentz in your lineups this week and open up some cap space to help further dominate the competition.
Prediction: 325 passing yards, 3 touchdowns
