High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

JJ Redick (vs UTA – $5,500): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. Redick has been over 29 fantasy points in his last two games. The Sixers need shooting in their starting lineup and Redick is by far their best shooter. The shots will always be there for him and he chips in with assists. The Jazz won’t be as bad as they were against the Mavericks, but just in case they are, Redick will light them up. Diagnosis: Good ceiling, always gets minutes and shots.

Malcolm Brogdon (vs CHI – $5,400): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. Brogdon was down to 13 minutes against the Grizzlies, but I’m not too concerned. He was playing well prior to that and has bounced back throughout this season after poor games. Plus, the Bucks gets to play the Bulls. The offense should not be a problem against the Bulls. Brogdon will bounce back. Diagnosis: Matchup is good and still an important part of a good offense.

Rodney McGruder (at IND – $4,600): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. McGruder had 20.3 fantasy points against the Nets on Nov. 14. He had 24.3 fantasy points against the Pacers on Nov. 9. The Heat are hurting at shooting guard right now and McGruder is going to continue to get big minutes. He hasn’t shown the ceiling he had earlier in the season, but he’s a low-cost option who will continue to get minutes. Diagnosis: Low-cost and reliable at this salary. Minutes matter.
