FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 16, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Robert Covington (vs POR – $6,500): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. Boy does Tom Thibodeau love him some Covington. He’s an active defender who can guard multiple positions and a floor-spacing shooter. There’s a reason why he played 41 minutes in his Minnesota debut. If he continues to play that many minutes, he’ll definitely produce, even if his salary is a bit on the higher side. Diagnosis: He’ll get the minutes and he can do a bit of everything.
E’Twaun Moore (vs NY – $5,300): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. Moore has been over 37 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s a streaky player, but he’s running red hot right now. And he gets to face the Knicks on Friday. There is concern about minutes and maybe others doing more so Moore has to do less. Still, keep taking him while he’s hot, especially given this matchup. Diagnosis: Red hot right now and a great matchup.
Evan Turner (at MIN – $4,500): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. I’ve been banging the Turner drum all season, and with a few exceptions, he hasn’t let me down. He did manage just 15 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Timberwolves on Nov. 4, but that was a blowout, so don’t put much stock in it. If the game is close, he’ll get nearly 30 minutes. And as the bench leader, I’ll keep trusting him to produce. Diagnosis: Yes, Evan Turner is reliable.
