High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Anthony Davis (vs NY – $12,800): Needs 53.1 fantasy points. Davis has been over 58 fantasy points in his last four games. Much like Giannis, the issue for Davis is the blowout potential. If you’re confident that Davis will play enough minutes, then he’ll easily produce 60-plus fantasy points. He may produce that number in less than 30 minutes, but that’s not nearly guaranteed. Diagnosis: You can rarely go wrong with Davis, but a blowout looms so his ceiling is lowered.

Jaren Jackson Jr (vs SAC – $6,900): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. Jackson Jr had 22.9 fantasy points in 16 minutes against the Bucks on Nov. 14. He’s a rookie, so he’s inconsistent, but he did have 32.4 fantasy points against the Kings on Oct. 24. I’m going to trust this matchup for him and it’s not like there are many strong options at PF on Friday. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but the matchup is proven and the ceiling is high.

Jayson Tatum (vs TOR – $6,800): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Tatum was down to 22.2 fantasy points against the Bulls on Nov. 14, but it was a blowout so you can throw that number out. He had 30.8 fantasy points against the Raptors on Oct. 19. He’s a big-time scorer who has really found his touch in recent games. He’s a guy I trust to show up in a big game like this. Diagnosis: High ceiling, will get the minutes, does a bit of everything.
