5. Vance Joseph

Vance Joseph and his Denver Broncos are sitting at 3-6 after the Week 10 bye. They are in desperate need of a big win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. This a huge divisional showdown and if Joseph can’t somehow pull off this important victory over their bitter rivals, he might be looking at the unemployment line after this season.

The Broncos, who are currently 21st-ranked on defense, have to somehow stop a Chargers offense that is averaging 392 yards per game. Joseph will have to pull out one of his best coaching performances in order to stop this potent offense. His defense has allowed 364 total yards per game this season to opposing offenses.

Joseph has an 8-17 (.320) record since taking over as head coach on Jan. 11, 2017. He won his coaching debut against these same Chargers. If he wants to continue his coaching ways at Mile High he will have to try and replicate that victory in Los Angeles this Sunday. We can’t imagine Broncos legend John Elway allowing Joseph to post another 5-11 campaign. Elway loves to win and that was more than likely talked about over the bye.
